Every time that I left the campsite without my camera I would see something interesting! Once it was a black snake that I was not able to find again when I returned with the camera...guess I did not search REALLY much for him! Next time it was an Armadillo...and, of course, he was also gone by the time I got my camera! Luckily Denny took his camera out every time he left the campsite...so here are a few more of his shots!
A WASP "Up CLOSE and PERSONAL"...
The little birds were plentiful but did not want to sit still for their picture to be taken but the LIMPKIN as well as the PILEATED WOODPECKER didn't mind getting in the pictures!

The "Hooty OWL" finally came out and made an appearance!
Now we are looking forward to our next outing which will not be able to happen until around the first week of June!
